Vodafone Group Foundation is committed to 2 main global themes
1. DISASTER RELIEF
The Vodafone Group Foundation is committed to providing assistance in the area of disaster response. Its main aim is to develop partnerships which enhance long term disaster response and preparedness activity, working with organisations such as the United Nations Foundation, Telecoms Sans Frontieres, Oxfam and MapAction. It also seeks wherever possible to make a direct contribution in response to critical humanitarian crises.
2. SPORTS AND MUSIC
Vodafone recognises that sport and music are vital tools for development for some of the most marginalised and disadvantaged groups in communities around the globe. A number of Vodafone local foundations have been successful at working with projects which use sport and music as the means of making a valuable contribution. As a result, The Vodafone Group Foundation will invest £12 million into the Sport and Music Programme over the next three years.
