Acting with the awareness that profit oriented growth is not standalone sufficient for economic and social development; Vodafone is implementing projects that will enable sustainable development and social integration through Vodafone Turkey Foundation in Turkey as in all around the world.

Vodafone Turkey Foundation is one of the 23 local foundations operating under the Vodafone Group Foundation set up by Vodafone based in UK. Like other Vodafone foundations throughout the world, Vodafone Turkey Foundation is driven by our “Passion for the World Around Us”, developing projects contributing to the economical and social development and well being of Turkey.

Our Foundation is aiming to respond effectively to the needs of the society in helping create the infrastructure that will accelerate the transformation to information society, facilitating the Turkish society to keep up with the global age.

With our determination to be at the forefront of social change and development, we as Vodafone Turkey Foundation initiated our activities in the area of education, being key element for the society to develop. The first steps we took in this direction are "Support to Teachers Project" implemented in 2007 by Vodafone Turkey Foundation in cooperation with Turkish Education Foundation and the Ministry of Education; and “Bridging the digital Divide Project” implemented again last year in cooperation with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Yet we have a long way ahead of us.

In this meaningful, priceless and delightful way that we have set off we are aiming to provide solutions to the needs of our country through leading projects that we will support as well as reinforcing Turkey’s presence in the international arena by bringing local and global values together. I would like to thank the official authorities of our country, local NGO’s, our business partners and Vodafone Turkey employees who supported us in this road requiring patience and dedication, and everyone else who supported us in our success up to date...
